We take the protection of your personal data seriously and treat it confidentially, in line with the applicable data-protection laws (in particular the EU GDPR and the German BDSG). This statement describes which data we collect when you visit this site and how we use it.

When you access this site, our web server (nginx, hosted on a VPS in Germany) automatically processes technical connection data:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of the request
• requested URL and HTTP status code
• amount of data transferred
• referrer URL and user agent (browser identifier)

This data is necessary to deliver the site, diagnose errors and ensure security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, legitimate interest). Log files are deleted or anonymised after 14 days at the latest.

Submitting the newsletter form on the home page only opens your own mail client — there is currently no server-side signup form, no direct data transfer from your browser to us. The mail is only sent to us once you actively send it from your mail client. That makes the action a deliberate, explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), removing the need for an additional double-opt-in.

We store the email address you send us manually on our waitlist in order to inform you about launch and significant news. There is no automated mailing, no tracking and no transfer to third parties. A newsletter tool (e.g. Listmonk, Brevo) will only be introduced if needed; in that case the first email will tell you about it and you can object to further storage.

You can object to being on the list at any time, informally, by emailing the contact address above — your address is removed from the list immediately.

This site sets no cookies — neither functional nor for tracking. There is no web tracking, no profiling and no audience measurement.

We do not embed any external fonts (Google Fonts), analytics tools, social media plugins or map services. Fonts are served locally from our own server.

This site is hosted on a virtual server (VPS) in Germany. The hoster processes the data named in the server log files as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

You are entitled at any time to:

• information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• correction of incorrect data (Art. 16)
• erasure ("right to be forgotten", Art. 17)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18)
• data portability (Art. 20)
• objection to processing (Art. 21)
• complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77) — the competent authority is the data-protection commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).

An informal email to the contact address above is enough to exercise these rights.

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy so that it always meets current legal requirements or reflects changes to our services — for example when new features are added. The version available at the time of your visit applies.
